Chocolate is also loaded with heavy metals lead and cadmium.
And now we know, koko the monkey, the chocolate monkey, all the antics, was just a distraction. Shame on Hershey,
From Wikipedia:
“Since α,β-unsaturated compounds are electrophiles and alkylating agents, many α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds are toxic. The endogenous scavenger compound glutathione naturally protects from toxic electrophiles in the body. Some drugs (amifostine, N-acetylcysteine) containing thiol groups may protect from such harmful alkylation.”

I’m still not eating bugs.
They even put that Prop 65 warning on items that could not possibly end up in your system, like metal door knobs. I think that they put the warning on everything because some ambulance chase in Californication is just waiting to sue some manufacturer for their “cancer-causing” product because the manufacturer “should have known”.
Gee, after forcing us to accept mRNA jabs NOW they’re worried about “... popular chocolate products contain(ing) cancer-causing chemical(s) ...”. Excuse me while I grab me a handful of Chocolate covered raisins.
Brrp
So we can keep eating chocolate if we want to... or wear masks or not, or just enjoy being free. Or get off on hating thuggy democrats.
Bugs are cancer free ... right?
“Eat za bugs!”

I just saw that story elsewhere.
Stupid, it is. The researchers don’t reveal what brands they tested.
Worthless information.
I’m dead, too (dark chocolate nut).
WARNING: Food™ contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer.
I like chocolate, especially dark, I will have to see where they sell brands that are not popular.
Uh-oh. I’m a bit of a chocoholic.
I’m sure we are both in the same club. Whoever invented the stuff is a saint.
So, we keep on living our free lives just to spite leftists. I can go with that.
As our ability to detect and measure chemicals becomes more precise, scaremongers find more ways to promote abject irrational fear and drum up grant money.
Meanwhile, in the real world, the Sun still rises in the East and sets in the West; the rain falls upon the just and the unjust alike ...
A Californian explained the idiotic Prop-65 warning. It’s quite simple: unless the manufacturer can PROVE that the product DOES NOT contain some known carcinogen, the manufacturer must apply the label. Such proof is expensive and time consuming; applying the label (which everyone will ignore) is cheap and easy.
Yes: guilty until proven innocent.
California is America In Name Only.
Yep, it adds meaning and fun. Especially on days like today.
The NHS likely kills more Brits annually than chocky...
