*Actual medicine*, ie the medical establishment, is well known for it’s propensity to push stuff that’s not good for us that the natural health community was warning us about for years.

Some things that come to mind are:

- Formula feeding infants over breast feeding them because formula is better for them.
- The use of trans fats.
- Eggs are bad for you.
- The overuse of antibiotics.
- The use of probiotics.
- Kidney stone patients should restrict their calcium intake.
- Indiscriminate removal of the tonsils and appendix is good because they play no role in health.
- Fats are bad for you and make you fat.
- Safe levels of vitamin D. It’s so toxic that you shouldn’t ever have more than 400 IU per day.

Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. The mainstream medical community has reversed its opinion on most of these issues and make a sudden *discovery* after some *studies* demonstrated what the natural health community has known for years.

Then they act like the heroes as if they made some kind of amazing breakthroughs, but you NEVER hear them admit that they were wrong or the natural health people were right.

Mainstream medicine, showing that it’s mostly kowtowing to big pharma, has only itself to blame for destroying any credibility it had.
