I’d definitely rather meet the bear in the woods, than the screeching leftist harridans.

An aside....Based on this sounds like its a good idea to avoid bear meat, especially raw or undercooked. (Given bears propensity to eat less than marginal rotting dead things...)

Bear Meat Dinner Leads to Brain Worms for Family

(CBS NEWS May 24, 2024)

A family meal turned into a health scare after several members were infected with brain worms from undercooked bear meat. According to the CDC, a 29-year-old Minnesota man was hospitalized multiple times in July 2022 after consuming kabobs made from black bear meat at a family gathering in South Dakota.

The bear meat, harvested in northern Saskatchewan, had been frozen for over a month but was initially served rare. Despite being recooked, five family members, including a 12-year-old girl, were diagnosed with trichinellosis, a rare roundworm infection.

Brain worms made national news earlier this year when presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed that he had contracted a parasitic worm years ago, which had “ate a portion" of his brain, leading to potential cognitive issues.

Symptoms of a brain worm infection can include nausea, vomiting, headaches, and seizures, according to Dr. Céline Gounder on "CBS Mornings". However, some individuals who contract the worms may remain undetected with no symptoms.
