I’ve had several direct attacks from paypal surprise billing or phishing attacks. one transferred payment info to zelle which tried to loot my banks account over night.
I have cancelled paypay & zelle

they were cleaning out my bank accounts & once it’s gone to paypay or zelle, you’re screwed.
I have had paypal forever with no problem.... today I got a phishing request for over $850
The attack comes from a compromised Zelle.
You are at risk if you have ever made a Zelle payyment (xfer) to PayPal.
