Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Those who are successful never get a chance to figure that out... Those who aren’t, sometimes do figure that out and live out their lives knowing that.

I know somebody who actually shot themselves in the temple with a 22 pistol back in the 1970s... They ended up losing an eye and surviving and they’re still alive today.

Most ignorant suicide statement ever. The severely depressed person sees only ONE word. SOLUTION. The not severely depressed person is incapable of comprehending this concept. Same goes for the non alcoholic comprehending alcoholism. Consider yourself fortunate.

Perhaps I should have been clearer in my original comment. I said:

"The only cures I found to that problem were Jesus (most importantly), vast amounts of cardio exercise, and absolute abstinence from alcohol (and other related stimulants)."

I should have said that all three of those elements were required in my case.
