Any police fan should listen to the interviews that Rick Beato did with each member of the band (separately). It was interesting. Copeland was pretty funny. (Don’t ask me, I just bang on things.)

Some unusual lyrics with Classical History reference—

“Listen hard to your tuition”.... the original meaning of “teaching”.

“Caught between the Scylla and Charybdis....” In Greek mythology Syclla and Charybdis are two sea monsters mentioned by Homer, which guard both sides of what is thought to be the Straits of Messina. Expression meaning a decision between two evils, so to speak.

For a pop song— pretty complex with chordal and melody tension— ethereal one might say.
