That said, it's apparent that LiveNation has had a stranglehold on concert tickets for years, a circumstance for which anti-trust legislation was originally enacted.
Moreover, in the government filing there is direct evidence of coercion by LiveNation against both artists and promoters.
None of the gov’t’s constitutional business. More unconstitutional gov’t overreach.
Had enough yet?
Time to dismantle the 80%+. $3+ trillion unconstitutional portion of the feds and restore our Free Constitutional Republic.
This is to boost Taylor Swift even more. She is going to have a fall concert for Biden, where she will implore her fans to vote for him.
It should have been done a long time ago. I can’t figure out why so called conservatives champion monopolies, capitalism only works when there’s competition. A monopoly functions just like a democrat ran government, they r in your pocket at will and there isn’t much you can do to stop them.
Bad news being visited upon TicketMaster et al is heartwarming. I have used them twice in my life, both times for shows that were cancelled (one was Jimmy Buffet). Despite having bought the refund insurance at the time of my original purchase, TM denied my refund out of hand saying that they had no record of my insurance purchase. So I was out of luck on the first purchase but the TM attitude regarding the second show cancellation (JB) apparently anger enough folks that a class action lawsuit was filed. I was notified of the legal action and joined in. It took two years but I got a complete refund.
I felt like I needed a shower after dealing with TM.
The government approved the Ticketmaster / LiveNation merger in the first place despite the fact that it would obviously reduce competition.
Sounds like Biden is making a play for the Ecstacy Vote.
This is to get the Taylor Swift endorsement for the chomo in chief.
Now do Google!
Oh wait, we can’t because google=cia
