The game camera here on the homestead, just 4 miles from downtown Bozeman, caught a mama and two cubs (black bears) just 28 hours ago. First bear siting of the year.

I will never forget the bear attack scene in the movie, The Revenant. I know that was Hollywood, but there’s a reason I don’t go to some places.

This guy was incredibly lucky. Obviously wasn’t his time to go on to the after life. Was he off the beaten path? I couldn’t tell.
