Yeah, I hate that one too! One I think is really clever and funny is the new Heinz commercial where the lady is in the fancy restaurant asks for Heinz because she is part of the Heinz family. The ending is funny!
Well now they’ve ruined the Heinz commercial. In 1st version, when they bring the heinz to the white woman, a black man raises his hand in the restaurant and says he’s a Heinz too. That was the funny part! I’ve seen it twice this morning and now they have cut the black man off the end...geez Can’t have humor anymore, can we?

I’m surprised TVs are allowed to have mute buttons.
Commercials are also chopped up into pieces about 1 second long. And commercials can have two simultaneously running, unrelated “plots”. There’s the commercial with one plot being a corporate jet setting, and the other being rock climbing.
I suppose the commercials are tested for creating attraction to the product being sold, not on whether they are liked.
