Bus driver going about 40MPH didn't take a left curve, went off slightly on the right, overcorrected and headed offroad to the left. Unfortunately the driver was thrown out her seat so no steering or brakes, and the bus careened across two front yards before slamming into a mobile home.

Fortunately, nobody hurt. Driver ticketed and dismissed from duty.

It was the combined mass of the driver and the bus. Too much inertia. The brakes were ineffective against it.

The home owners will be getting themselves a brand new trailer, thanks to the fat bus non-driver.

I would not want to be the mobile home owner if any of the kids got hurt. That owner could get sued for having parked his trailer in front of a school bus.

Seriously, some ambulance chaser could come up with a twisted cocked scheme cleverly worded and convince a jury it was the mobile home owners fault.

If she was in fact ticketed, her name is public record.

Sounds to me like both the school district and local LE are covering something up...

Like maybe backgrounds checks are not being conducted on bus drivers...?

Bus drivers aren’t being disciplined...?
