A “plus-size” travel influencer claimed a Washington airport worker refused to push her in a wheelchair up the jet bridge because of her size, which left her gasping for air when she was forced to walk off the plane.
Jae’lynn Chaney, 27, revealed on TikTok that she requested “wheelchair assistance” during her trip to Sea-Tac International Airport in Washington.
“I’m a plus-size wheelchair user and on a recent flight to the Sea-Tac airport, I requested wheelchair assistance, as I always do,” a narrator said on Chaney’s post. “When it came time for me to deplane, I saw the employee who would be assisting me with my wheelchair waiting for me in the entry of the jet bridge.”
The influencer, who has amassed over 135,500 followers on the platform, claimed the employee started walking away from the plane when she saw the traveler deboard the plane.
“As I approached her and she realized she’d be assisting me and not one of the smaller passengers she started to walk away with the wheelchair while making comments about my size,” Chaney claimed.
Chaney, who can walk, allegedly told the employee she needed the chair but was “blatantly ignored,” forcing her to walk up “one of the longest jet bridges I’ve encountered.”
The long walk took a lot of energy out of the influencer, and she claimed she nearly fainted.
“By the time she let me reach the wheelchair and sit down my lips were white, my oxygen levels had dropped, and I almost fainted,” Chaney recalled.

They should have moved her with one of them tug machines that moves an airplane around the tarmac....
This person IS NOT “plus sized”. She IS morbidly obese. Others that fat have been found literally “glued to the broken springs” in their couches. Infested with insects breeding in their bodies and feeding off of the food stuck in their flesh.
Is “morbidly obese” no longer a medical term?
...because that’s what I see.
In my mind, “plus size” means the jeans which fit properly went from a 30” waist size to a 31” waist.
Her 135K followers are likely all obese like her. In the scheme of things their numbers influence should be minuscule .
It’s an oxygen concentrator she probably conned Medicaid to pay for.
Pushing her in a wheelchair up a ramp, without a powered wheelchair, would be an OSHA violation. I wouldn’t do it either.
Somebody did a video om these plus size influencers and over a dozen of them have died in the last 2 years.
They don't offer one with a Cummins Diesel.
I’m disabled and utilize wheelchair services at the airport. Unless you’re paraplegic or quadriplegic you’re expected to walk the 20 feet or so of the jet bridge. This goofball is simply fat.

Ouch!
She’s so fat that smaller fat people orbit her.

BETCHA they had to calculate the luggage placement to balance the plane.
I applaud the employee who wouldn’t push this hippo up the ramp. Probably saved herself a back injury.
That should’ve been in the cargo hold.
You need your Orwell Decoder Ring these days.
First of all, almost none of the fat messes you see have a medical issue that causes them to be overweight. Second, I don’t care what illness they have, it doesn’t cause them to be the size of a small car. What DOES cause it is an absolute lack of self-control and self-respect. I’m so tired of everyone (not necessarily including you) pretending that these weak, useless wastes of air and space are just “victims” of an illness. They aren’t.
If they planted her corpse in the ground, I bet french fries would sprout there within a month.
Here's her wheelchair now.

I am 40 pounds overweight at 225. weighed 293 when I had 5 way bypasses in 2002. I am an addict of sugar and sweets and potatoes and all things carb,
I am 77 I worked with a few thousand drug addicts and alcoholics. I have been to 3 diabetes classes and read every thing. My knowledge about heart and sugar is extensive
I was raise in a family coming out of the depression if you had food and were overweight that was a sign of affluence. And you ate what was piut on your plate.
Yet, I have not controlled enough to do what I need to do and my life is a roller coaster Sometimes very good, sometimes very bad and everywhere in between. But at 77 I’m not sure I want to bite the bullet. I have lost 47 pounds and more in my life and regain most of it.
I can overwhelm medication like ozempic which is supposed to curb appetite. I can lie to my self. But do what it takes on an onging basis, not yet.
Do they make mobility scooters that can handle that much weight?
