Legendary coach John Madden had a statue of himself unveiled today in front of Bruno's Market and Deli in Carmel-by-the-Sea.Um…. They write as if Madden were present. He was not - he is deceased.

Carmel-By-the-Sea is a city in California about 1/3rd of the way between San Fran and L.A. (for those who know nothing about these places)
