House hearing on Garland devolves into chaos involving AOC, MTG & Crockett: ‘Are your feelings hurt? Aww’
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) traded barbs with Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett during a train wreck of a House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday night in which the lawmakers took turns body-shaming each other.
The hearing on whether to move forward with a contempt resolution against Attorney General Merrick Garland spiraled out of control after Greene brought up the daughter of the Manhattan judge presiding over former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial and then commented on the physical appearances of Crockett (D-Texas).
“I’d like to know if any of the Democrats on this committee are employing Judge [Juan] Merchan’s daughter,” Greene asked.

Down here in the real world, either you're a Democrat or you're MAGA. There is absolutely no support for Republicans like Mike Johnson.
If there's a blue +60 wave coming it's because folks think that the Republicans are like Mike, and not like MTG.

Support for the mainstream GOP has collapsed, and isn't coming back. Hence D+60 - it's like 2018, only worse, because the non-resigning but non-MAGA group is larger, and the voters are very angry.
Where I disagree is that people who like MTG could elect >218 Members of Congress, given the state the nation is in. I think MAGA Republicans in the House top out around 50, and my prediction of D+60 may be way too conservative.
The exact same thing is happening in the UK, and for the same reasons. The official Conservative Party has been scamming conservative, patriotic voters since 1988 (coincidence with the arrival of Bush I? I think not), and they may be wiped out at the next election.
At least the Democrats know what they want to do and know how to exercise power. The GOP does neither.
I disagree. How is MTG different than Trump? And by that I mean her positions and her talk. Do you know how many CD's Donald "Grab Woman" Trump won in 2016?

If your prediction is correct, we’re in big trouble. The GOPee and the disruptors who are supposedly on our side simply can’t seem to imagine a world in which most Americans are starving and they (the RINOs and disruptors) are being run into the goo lags with the rest of us.
She has no support from normal Americans who are Democrats. Trump has a lot of support from them.
Is there something wrong with wearing false eyelashes? Ivanka Trump wore them to work in the White House and Melania Trump wears them for every public appearance. Kristi Noem wears false eyelashes. Should she be recalled for that? I seem to remember harsh criticism of Michelle Obama for going sleeveless in the White House, but Melania Trump went sleeveless very often. Now the anchors on Fox News go sleeveless after eight years of bashing Obama for going sleeveless. This is stupidity and a waste of taxpayer dollars. In a couple months MTG will probably be wearing false eyelashes. LOL

Her daughter is about toddler age, so I doubt she is working at any job.

Of course not. I’d probably wear them in certain situations, and if I thought they wouldn’t drive me crazy — which they would. (Wore wigs when I had cancer. I looked better, but rarely wear them now ‘cause they’re too uncomfortable.)
In any case, what MTG said had nothing to do with eyelashes. It was a criticism of the chick’s lack of reading comprehension skills. The eyelashes were thrown in for hyperbole.

However, I’d like to know the entire context. Was MTG really first? Or at least, truly the first to be openly denigrating?
All that being said, I’ve heard enough over the years by Dems in public that I can’t be real upset about 1 statement. Dems blanket insult Repubs both politicians and constituents all the time. They libel Repubs as NAZIs, racists, bigots, etc. I don’t recall off hand if direct remarks were made but they have zero qualms about publicly stating it.
