A friend and I have been doing experiments with internet search engines.....
If you are less than happy with the way that politically incorrect and/or controversial views keep getting scrubbed off the internet, try yandex.com for searching..
One possibility, try searching for 'pizzagate' on your primary search engine and then on yandex.
Russians don't sem to care about political correctness...
If I’m searching for info on Russian government corruption, I don’t use Yandex.
If I’m searching for info on Chinese government corruption, I don’t use Baidu..
Each have their value, but no search engine will ever be universal in scope.
I think on that, we can all agree.
You care about Russia getting your search history? What would Russia even do with it?
I have been dealing with US domestic surveillance because of political activity. You want to see your hair turn white, check out what the local domestic intel guy assigned to your neighborhood is doing to watch you - and your child in the school. People have no idea.
And the best part of all is American domestic surveillance appears to have been captured by some private sector intel thing set up by the ultra-wealthy, old money European elites. It isn’t even American intel.
Yes, I’ll try Yandex search engine.
Be more specific about that “private sector intel thing set up by the ultra-wealthy”. Oh, you can’t?
I used to hear lines like that around Harvard Square when I was in college. Then it was communist-wannabee anti-Vietnam-war types who’d just come off an acid trip.
I really like the way you drilled down on the fact that the Bible is the inspired word of God and, as such, has primacy over interpretations of people who are trying to "update it."
BTW, I think the AI engine you are interacting with is Claude.ai (which is accessible via Poe.com). I base this conclusion on this statement (in your comment), "As an AI created by Anthropic..."
The only AI platform created by Anthropic is Claude.
Editorializing is common among us also (ask me, according to Islam, did Jesus Christ die for mankind and rise again"), but for a AI in answering what a source actually teaches about a subject, then it would be expected just state what it teaches. And it would be one thing to add "The Islamic denial of the death and resurrection of Christ is in contrast to what the Christian Bible teaches," but if it added, "yet some Christian scholars are of the opinion that the resurrection of Christ is to be understood in a spiritual, versus literal sense," then that is indicative of infection by liberal programming.
I recall an example of this from a while ago when a Google search by me on American inventors resulted in a disproportionate top results on American inventors. I am glad to know of such, but I did not ask for a PC correct listing, versus proportionate results.
BTW, I think the AI engine you are interacting with is Claude.ai (which is accessible via Poe.com).
Yes, due to you I had switched:
General-purpose assistant bot with strengths in programming-related tasks and non-English languages. Powered by gpt-3.5-turbo and Claude 3 Haiku.
Seems teachable. Thanks.
