At his autopsy, Texas Tower shooter Charles Whitman was found to have a "fairly well-outlined" brain tumor, located near his amygdala. The amygdala is a part of the brain often mentioned in discussions of psychopathy, and emotional and social dysfunction.

It is perhaps worth mentioning that Whitman asked to have his brain checked for this possibility in what amounted to his suicide note.
