I’m surprised Dave Trone lost in the Dem primary. He spent (IIRC) about $60 million to win it.
His voting record was pretty liberal but I wonder if he was doomed because voters balked at the amount of money being spent by him or whether he regarded as an old white guy and thus a no-go for higher office?

The people here have known about Alsobrooks for a long time. Most never heard of Trone before.
