I recently read an article that concluded the colonists probably left and joined the Indians in order to survive.
That seems to be the prevailing theory. Being migratory, the tribes would have moved to follow game and fish supplies....................
I was watching a Josh Gates “expedition unknown” about a dig on an Indian encampment on Croatian. The expedition found English artifacts dating to the time of the White expedition supporting the theory that folks from the lost colony joined the Indians.
