Def: Fascism's extreme authoritarianism and nationalism often manifest as a belief in racial purity or a master race, usually blended with some variant of racism or discrimination against a demonized "Other", such as Jews, homosexuals, ethnic minorities or immigrants.
There are a handful of you guys who use Fascism as a catch all and I truly believe Fascism is the wrong word to describe the left and Woke ideology... It truly makes no sense to me...
That is because you are not using an accurate description of fascism in practice, you are using one that is more appropriate to Nazism, which started out fascist but was bent by that particular personal demons of its strongman into ia thing reflecting him more than the classic system. It is comparable to what Stalinism was to Lenin’s form of communism.
Fascism is characterized by political/economic system quite akin to our modern notion of pay-to-play…only a bit more like pay for our favor to continue to exist…which is road the current American government establishment has travelled a long way down. Very little to no competition, you pay tribute to the government elite and you are, or become, a large monopoly.
A better (but not perfect, as there is no true perfect definition of a totalitarian and authoritarian system that flows from a very old source) definition is more one of characteristics:
“Frequently cited as a standard definition by notable scholars,[31] such as Roger Griffin,[32] Randall Schweller,[33] Bo Rothstein,[34] Federico Finchelstein,[35] and Stephen D. Shenfield,[36] is that of historian Stanley G. Payne.[37] His definition of fascism focuses on three concepts:
“Fascist negations” – anti-liberalism, anti-communism, and anti-conservatism.
“Fascist goals” – the creation of a nationalist dictatorship to regulate economic structure and to transform social relations within a modern, self-determined culture, and the expansion of the nation into an empire.”
