Not many people seem to notice, but the "far right" rogues' gallery" is basically the same as that of the original left wing Populists in the 1890s: Rockefeller, Morgan, Carnegie, etc. At some point the conservative coasts and the radical heartland switched places.
The original Populists were for the most part zealous Fundamentalist Protestants, yet they called for an income tax, currency inflation, nationalization of the railroads, and limits on how much property one could own. Note however that none of this is part of CULTURAL leftism. The "malefactors of great wealth" went from conservatism to "Cultural Marxism" while apparently skipping economic leftism altogether.
The devil took George Soros up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me.”
And Soros said that sounds like a bargain. "Hell, yes".
And as Paul Harvey used to say "And now you know the rest of the story".
