1979. I grew up just up the road from Greensboro so the shootout and its aftermath made the news every so often. The local libs have tried to make it out to be more than it really was, which was two groups of people hating each other enough to open fire. They even had a "truth and reconciliation" thing like what happened in South Africa after apartheid.

It was two gangs of losers who were out to kill each other. And that's it.

A Commie jewish med student foolishly engaged the Klan from Reidsville. The entire union effort is what is responsible for bankers to advise the mills to move over seas. Which they did, and put millions of Americans out of work, generations of good jobs.
