The Main Battle Tank (MBT) is a hallmark of modern warfare. Since the final years of the First World War, the land battleship concept has enchanted the minds of ground warfare planners. Armor, speed, mobility, strength, were once all key components in determining which nation had the greatest tanks.

The USMC used jammers for the marine air defense integrated system (madis) on light vehicles on the decks of carriers to take down down Iranian drones. The cost to take down Iranian drones was the cost of the gasoline to power the jammer.
Do you work for General Dynamics? Don’t believe your lying eyes, listen to the soothing reassurances of the MIC talking heads. The vast majority of our trillion dollar weapon systems are obsolete or so technologically fickle that they can’t be properly operated or maintained. The obsolete USN can’t deal with the Houthi irregulars, just send in 10 billion in armor and watch the Houthi destroy those obsolete assets.

When Iran launched over 300 drones, cruise, and ballistic missiles at Israel, who's tech shot them down?
And for Russia-Ukraine war, if US tech is so terrible, why has Russia not won, when Ukraine is getting our older weapons and 5% of our defense budget?

Tanks and aircraft carriers are utterly obsolete.
Try jamming a faraday-enclosed AI-powered drone.
Who won at Trafalgar? Totally obsolete weapons. You probably still want to buy aircraft carrier mega targets.
I was able to run 4 hours with my brother in law (driver) and son 15 (gunner) and daughter 12 (loader) and myself (tank commander) in a real M1 tank simulator. I can say that that tank is super easy to operate. It’s tactical training crews need. I’m sure killer drones messed up the modern battlefield.... Every one is going to figure out how to counter act them.
I used to test antennas on a large platform ground rotatotr and we once got an M1 for a month to test. We were testing the MMW BCIS system antennas as the time. It was neat to ride in.
