Both played a factor. Unexplained GB incidents and a swine flu epidemic that wasn’t. No reason to continue the vaccinations.
This has little or no relevance to the COVID pandemic. Sure, the vaccines had some rare side-effects, all vaccines do. However the COVID pandemic was real and the swine flu wasn’t.
The important lesson from both the swine flu and covid is that politicians need to be more cautious in their reactions.

The point is swine flu was pulled with far fewer side effects or fatalities than the clot shots.
And back then the authorities didn’t make it a practical impossibility to report side effects, and then BOTH lie to cover them up, then try to destroy the careers of doctors which reported them.
They worked for the patients, not Moderna/Pfizer profits.
