Don’t panic. I read the entire article so y’all didn’t have to! ;)

They’ve invented a new tomato variety that ‘supposedly’ has additional health benefits. Their ‘claims’ have not been proven, their experiments were not peer-reviewed and it’s only been grown out for consumption...by mice.

This is Marketing 101. On something like this ANY publicity is Good Publicity. You WANT people talking about this ‘New, New Thing!’

IF it ever gets to market, do or do not. There is no ‘buy.’
(Sorry, Yoda!) *SMIRK*

I grow both Heirlooms and Hybrid tomato varieties. I garden organically, so disease resistance is HUGE with me. I do NOT want to bombard my food with chemicals. I am all about PRODUCTION, Baby! I’ve got mouths to feed! I have just about grown it all. My vegetable gardens through the past two decades have been test gardens for various seed companies.

I have 18 years in ‘The Seed Biz.’ It is what it is. This is how stuff gets to market and is either a Success or a Failure.
