Any volounteers for going up in that Boeing spaceship?
Non-technical managers, meanwhile, tend to be focused on broader aspects of a company like strategic planning, communication, and decision-making.
Musk could buy 90% of corp America and instantly, dramatically cut costs.
He knows these payrolls are overloaded with do nothing social activists.
Musk has done good/great things with SpaceX and X, however, Tesla is and will remain a dumpster fire.
Let’s not forget as well that SpaceX is funded directly by the Federal government for the most part, and Tesla couldn’t sell its EVs without huge government subsidies.
Also, X was a declining property when Musk overpaid $40B for it, and it continues to operate in the red. That said, Musk struck a blow for the 1st Amendment and free speech when he took over.
A mixed bag certainly, but a net positive for the USA and liberty.
He should buy Boeing.
Have seen other outfits destroyed by too many non- tech managers. It is a known way to fux up an engineering coolant or agency.
He’s right. Boeing has too many non-airplane people making decisions on how to build airplanes.
“Technology is dominated by two types of people: those who understand what they do not manage, and those who manage what they do not understand.” ~ Putt’s Law
Well, he got that one right.
Green eye shade pencil necks ruin every company they run.
This only makes sense, because after McEnerney the real product of Boeing is paper. Stock certificate paper.
>>there are too many non-technical managers at Boeing<<
That is not just a problem at Boeing but all over US industry.
Boeing, as with most large companies, has far too many people without any concern for profit and productivity.
