I hate iced coffee!....................yuck!..............
My dad would order iced coffee on our famous (or infamous) annual vacations when he had a long drive ahead of him, especially in the evening. If places said they didn’t make iced coffee, he’d ask for hot coffee with cream and sugar, and a tall glass filled with only ice, no water. Then he’d show the waitress (we were allowed to call them that back then) how to make iced coffee if anyone should ever request it.
I have no idea why it’s popular. One taste of cold coffee and I dump it out.
