Store employees in Beverly Hills were so fed up with shoplifting, they decided to put together a "new mugshot" wall-of-shame display.

I like that a lot too.
Except the shopkeepers would get a whole slew of “random” inspections from the health department, fire department, occupational safety, franchise tax board, you name it.
I am not a libertarian but do have my sympathies. We have way too much government, and not enough where it matters most.
