Trump and his endorsements suck (again)
FR ^ | May 4 | Me

Posted on 05/04/2024 7:11:18 PM PDT by RandFan

Sorry but it has to be said. His endorsements suck once again. He's terrible at them.

He's supporting Mike Rogers the Bush-era Neocon in MI who is basically responsible for FISA and its very use against him when he was president.

He's supportive of Mike Johnson the RINO/Democrat Speaker and was said to have intervened last week to get that foreign aid package passed!

NOT HELPFUL DON ...

Why is he cosying up to these people?

There’s nothing wrong with being a bit disillusioned.

I know Rand is from his recent comments

Although, it’s amazing Trump is speaking at the Libertarian conference

Maybe he will address some of these concerns ...

Onw thing is for sure, if the Brandon and the Dems win, there's no hope for the future. None. We're done, and not just half way

Time you and all the other negative nabobs here recognize this binary truth. Trump ain't perfect, but recovery is possible if we throw the Stalinists out and we move back closer to the pre-Covid America again when he was President. He accomplished a lot of good with a bunch of traitorous RINOs, and he will probably do it again.

Yes Trump has his reasons, well so what? After 6 years his reasons are obviously wrong. He hasnt learned anything. Loving the dude doesnt me you have to have a hypocritical and juvenile defense for his total lack of discernment when it comes to others. For the guy who constantly obsesses about and talks about loyalty, and yet is known to have none, is rather strange.

I like Rand - being disillusioned is one thing - trying to spread the disillusionment is non-productive...

I think Randfan, perhaps doesn't necessarily know that Justin Amash is back in the game and running for that seat against Rogers.

It's hard enough to even know who is running in the district one lives in because many do not even know their own candidates. It's not like representatives run significant campaigns.

When you are working to support & raise a family, keeping up with everything going on is not always easy for most.

In addition, there are many things also going on in the world that grab people's attention.

Currently there is an overload happening in the world, and it all seems to be competing at the same time. It's overwhelming in fact. This is all by design, because the more chaos, the more confusion it generates in people.

But be patient, and explain, keeping them focused upon the main priorities, which the number one priority right now is to put Trump back into office.

Teach them to ignore what they believe is detrimental, and hold steady that Trump is working in their best interests. Stay steady in your support, but work with him to work for us. He has done a lot, but he still needs our help.

Keep up the good work BillyBoy. 🙂👍

“...RINOs are nothing more than Democrats and both are what make up the Uni-party, which is a product of the Deep-State.”

Most excellent summation, I’m looking forward to voting AGAINST Amash for the third time this August. I’m a proud basher of the GOPe as there has been no republican party for a long time - segue this into why my I’m NOT voting for my “conservative” (once upon a time) Walberg either who has been largely labelled a firm (R) for a long time. Not anymore, he voted for the $1.2 trillion omnibus (no money for the border but cash for the tranny crowd) along with FISA spy mess, and of course countless billions for the Ukes. Never.

There is another dynamic going on too but the MSM and the uniparty/dems/GOPe won’t ever mention it, take for example why Michigan lost both the state house and the state senate at the same time for the first time in decades in the last election, why is this?

Largely because the red areas in this state are really red like other states and just don’t turn out to support RINOs/uniparty types when one can’t tell the difference. It’s been happening around the country, best example recently is the “red wave” that never materialized.

I never had a problem with Trump the first time. He didn’t get the place cleaned up.. But it’s coming. And they know it..

You go to war with the army you have not the one you wish you had. Our army is a bunch of Benedict Arnolds(GOP) led by George Washington(Donald Trump).

Meanwhile, republicans are retiring from The House
at break neck speeds so they can turn over control to the democrats if Trump somehow wins. What a party.

Trump, like all potential presidents before him, with their nomination secured, is starting to play politics vis-a-vis the general election, because most of all they want to get elected.

Look for the MTGs of the party to be disappointed with his choice for VP.

I think there is only one Conservative thing I can likely expect from a 2nd Trump admin - continued good choices for the judiciary. The rest will be some good decisions and some bad ones. What we will need are some MAGA elected officials willing to disagree with Trump when he is more populist than Conservative.

That’s a good way of putting it!

BTW third parties are difficult and would take decades to build.

I’m encouraged Trump is speaking at the LP conference though.

That is interesting and a first for a former president and GOP nominee.

Maybe he will address some concerns.

When he endorsed Johnson, are you gonna tell me you knew better? I don’t think so.

Turncoat Johnson was a surprise to me and to a lot of us.

He is an idiot. That won't change. He'll do himself in again because his narcissism and need to be loved is far greater than any political acumen he has in judging people. You may not like that explanation but it is the truth. Deep down you know that and find excuses for it.

Trump endorsed Jim Baird.
US Rep.Indiana's 4th Congressional District

Baird absolutely sucks.

He is an evil republican turncoat.
My friend and Constitutional Conservative, Charles Bookwalter is running against him.

Well, we still need Republican majorities, if for no other reason than to keep Dems out of power. But true America first "conservatives" need to run. Not sure how we get that to happen. But it is what needs to happen. But if the choice is between Mike Rogers, and Justin Amash, Mike Rogers has to be the one to vote for. Allowing Democrats to win does not serve our best interest. But his constituents need to stay on Mike Rogers like white on rice while he is in office.

I can't stand Julia Letlow, who was the wife of Luke Letlow who was elected to Congress but passed away due to Covid. I will work to primary her in the upcoming primary. They have changed how primaries here in La. The top two advance to the general election. Unless only goes over 50%, then that candidate is the only candidate from that party to move up to the general. If no one gets over 50%, then it becomes more complex because then we are competing against with one Democrat or two, along with any third party candidates. But it will be a Republican or a Democrat the ultimately wins.

Can’t blame Trump endorsements in D.C. is a dice roll majority have one hand on the next rung of the political ladder or in the cash line for a vote.

How do you think Biden became president 50 years and millions gained trust is the hardest thing to come by in D.C..

It’s the same all over the world.
