He said yes. I said ok, can you tell me where it is incorrectly translated?

The historical record shows that Joseph Smith was told by GOD to redo the KJV to get the errors out.

The record bears evidence that JS followed what he was told to do.

The big religious organization, based in Salt Lake City, does NOT include the Inspired Version in it's grouping of Scripture - nicknamed the Quad - but it still contains the KJV of the bible.

Can any logical person figure this out?

Joseph Smith

In June of 1830, Joseph Smith, Jr., received the word of God as it was revealed to Moses. The work of translation began in the latter half of 1830 and was completed on July 2, 1833, although the manuscripts indicate additional editing by Joseph after that date. Many sections in the Doctrine and Covenants give the Lord's instructions regarding the translation (see D&C 34:5; 42:5c, 15a; 45:11a; 73:2a; 76:3c; 87:5a; and 90:12). Although the work is referred to as a "translation," it should be understood that the process of receiving the text was primarily revelatory, as opposed to the modern definition of scholarly conversion of a writing from one language to another. The Doctrine and Covenants indicates the inspired and revelatory nature of the work: "the Scriptures shall be given even as they are in mine own bosom, to the salvation of mine own elect" (D&C 34:5b).

I think I’ve managed to explain it close to a half dozen times. It is quite logical I’m not inclined to do it again.

There are quite a few quotes from the “inspired version” in the “quad” that spell out some of them. Why would anyone get all wrapped up in worry about so called incorrect translations in the first place. If you and the Spirit of God are connected it shouldn’t be an issue should it?

To deny there are some minor translation issues, knowing how many hands the good book has gone through before reaching our hands would certainly be illogical.

And of course “the World” denying anything other than the Bible as scripture has been prophesied for thousands of years. It’s the result of the secular belief that revelation from God is no longer needed and his spokesmen on earth living prophets are a thing of the past.
