Several years ago in College Station, a train carrying beer derailed. Near the area known as Northgate. Several bars in that area. It was Homer Simpson’s dream come true.

That is true. My BIL used to service the Fleet Trucks for the company that serves the entire State with Beer & Wine. He had one hell of an assortment of both in his garage that he would dumpster dive for. Kept it well stocked for 40 years and he was even able to get fully functional glass door coolers to keep it in.

Saw a 12-pack on sale last week for $9.00 after tax so tried it after 20 years. Still over-carbonated (hence Champaign of Beers) so rather gassy on the gut - but surprisingly tasty without the bitterness of most A-B products or sugary like Coors.
Acceptable to help fill coolers if you’re hosting a party.
