They are wild dogs. Thus as wild dogs they too need to eat. The Donner Party comes to mind as to what happens when humans become hungry also.

However, wasn't Noem's complaint about her dog, was not that it was vicious, but rather that it wouldn't train as a bird dog? Or something to that affect?

So I'm not sure what this post has to do with Noem in the first place.

The dog in question KILLED a bunch of her friend’s chickens.

She paid for the damage her dog did, and dispatched the dog humanely.

The dog didn’t train well, and was a HUGE liability in the field. That was a small factor in the decision to put the animal down.

The chicken killing ALONE is the main reason and more than enough to justify the dog’s elimination.

A lot of people are unwilling to get rid of a bad dog.

Responsible dog owners are.

I never had a bad dog for long. They met quick ends.

There are plenty of dogs no need to put up with a bad one.
