Cutco makes knives, guaranteed forever, and the company’s been around for a pretty long time. Not a fly by night. Yes, made in the USA. When I learned that they had a few garden tools, I jumped at the chance. I can’t tell you how many $10-30 hand tools I’ve bought and thrown away over the years. I really like these, and because they cost a little more, I’ve made sure I didn’t lose them.

I'm cleaning up and taking care of the new one. I've actually been keeping it in the cab of the truck. I need to set up a place for garden tools and start getting new versions of a lot of them.

I found the old one somewhere without a handle so I made one from the end of an old shovel handle and put the hose clamp on it to prevent it from splitting. Worked but not exactly ergonomic.
