Pulled a lot of stuff that can go to the compost pile that I inadvertently started this morning while weeding the LFYG. I needed to do something with the holes leftover from moving the comfrey anyway. - so I'm building the compost pile over the holes. (would help if I finished my sentence) Don't have to fill the holes and maybe it will be a good connection to microbes.

Picked up a trowel this morning to dig out thistle. I had an old rusty one with a short homemade wooden handle. This ought to do better.

Now whether me knees and back hold up or not remains to be seen.
