and I hope that she stays there.
Must be nice, able to go Hop Scotching from shore to shore with boredom the only real challenge. The article doesn’t say how she finances her Gypsy Fever. One can only speculate.
If I were to retire outside the country I would choose an Asian country. Relatively free of globohomo nonsense and much safer than the West. The people are chill and would be easy to get along with.
As far as her negative experience in Egypt I’ve seen a lot of people online diss their visit there. They experienced rudeness and just a general unfriendliness. They are so use to tourists they take them for granted.
Is there a particular reason to be against her?
Singapore must have tons of folks risking their lives to move in.
I posted a list yesterday of the most expensive buildings ever built and Singapore was over repped on the list. There are plenty of significantly poorer Asian nations-the country must be fending immigrants off as if there is no tomorrow.
I was recently there for just four days and I can easily believe it!
Safe, clean, prosperous, no drugged out bums, no graffiti beautiful sights...
They have one of the lowest crime rate in the world and lowest jail population.
Judicially administered corporal punishment (lashes) is how they do it. Much more effective, much cheaper than jail and very low recidivism.
Well,she is “Crazy”.
Spending my time in the Navy and visiting multiple countries, I was always very happy to be back in the United States. Back then, there was no other place like here.
Different people have different desiderata. Singapore’s weather is awful IMHO.
Oops..she’s “Krazy”
A couple of the best countries in the world are Florida and Virginia.
Nice and safe to visit but not live there. Too hot, too crowded, too small and too close to Malaysia.
Good for her for exploring and finding a place she likes. I personally wouldn’t like the weather or the population density though you can find a little nature by taking the ferry to Pulau Ubin. Little India was very crowded on Sunday night and there was a lot of styrofoam and paper trash from evening picnicers.
Her favorability seems to be based on efficiency to and from the airport. Perhaps, for a traveler, that’s more important than actually living there full time, as opposed to having a home base until the next flight.
What she says about Syria should really put to shame the politicians of various european countries who don’t want to send their Syrian refugees back because of ‘safety’ or some nonsense.
How can you possibly afford to visit 19 countries per year for ten years? She is either independently wealthy, got a big inheritance, or won a big lottery.
She chose Singapore because they don’t shit around with lawbreakers. I doubt they have the DEI disease, either.
Bye
I don’t understand the problem. She likes Singapore. Lucky her.
No skin off anyone else’s nose.
She found a place she likes best. Great.
She either inherited money or earned it.
Either case, it was hers to use as she chose.
