“Democracy”, in the form of Propositions on our Washington state ballots is what brought us gun bans, forced insurance, increased taxes, increased rents and other terrible things. And for many of them, after the idiots vote for it them they complain when the find out what really happens.
How come my rent went up!? The landlord said it is to cover the increase in taxes, insurance and heating. Yeah, I voted for that stuff - but that’s the landlord’s problem, not mine! He’s just being greedy!!!
Liberal elites are into class warfare. We’re not.
When conservatives talk about ‘the elties’ it’s not a money thing. We’re not talking about the Marxist/Antifa 1% crap.
If class envy and wealth was our issue our leader wouldn’t be Trump - or one of our heroes - Elon Must or a man we admire off and on who’s a liberal - Bill Maher... It’s a process - we’re not ‘jealous of rich people’s ‘stuff’...contrary to what the bimbos Karie Couric and Elizabeth Warren chose to believe.
Our democracy isn’t perfect because we’re not perfect, but our battle is based on simple principles - and Lincoln’s “by the people, for the people...” is part of it.
Even members of the Republican Party refer to our system of government as a “democracy.” This is why the Republican Party is also known as The Stupid Party. They get confused reciting the Pledge of allegiance where it mentions, “and to the Republic…”
