Albert Pike, 1871 - With the support of the other nations, the political leaders of Israel and the Islamic world will conduct a war in such a way that they mutually destroy each other. The other nations will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion. Then we shall unleash the nihilists and the atheistic communists who’ve been restrained and held in check since WWII, and we shall provoke a formidable, final social cataclysm.

We have been giving Israel $3 billion per year in military aid for decades.

I would not pick on Israel in particular but would ask more broadly why can’t every nation borrow for its own defense?

I understand coming to the aid of allies and could be persuaded if we had the money and it was demonstrably in our own interest but once we are broke I would not come to anyone’s aid with our debt.

Our systems have become messed up because of fiat money.

The Federal Reserve can conjure money up and lend it to the federal government at say 3% even with say 7% inflation.

The real cost of federal borrowing then is negative 4%. The government tempted with money that can be obtained without cost ‘borrows’ enormous amounts of it.

The people being shortchanged are American’s older, modest income folks that can’t afford to gamble on overpriced stocks but have to buy 5% CDs in the face of 7% inflation.

Older politicians like Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi know they will never suffer a negative consequence for borrowing and spending in their lifetimes, so they borrow and spend wildly.

One of the things needed to be done is to put the House of Representatives on a four-year election cycle two years offset from the presidency so “representatives” feel less need to buy votes at every possible opportunity.

Apparently, that’s ~$3.5 billion to import Gazans into the USA to shore up Muslim representative congressional districts.

A grown up man or woman, pretending not to understand?

The USA spends more on military aid to Japan and South Korea than we do on Israel.

Adjusted for currency and cost of living differences, Israel spends more than $3,000 (US Dollars) per Jewish citizen on military defense.

That is the #1 per capita defense expenditure in the world.

The USA - #2 - spends about $2,500 per citizen.

Plus, the USA has a peace time economy and is about 50% more productive than Israel, which exists in a perpetual war time economy.

Here’s how it works, Scooter.

Israel borrows the money from US banks. They use that money to buy American weapons from American companies.

Israel then pays those loans off with interest. I know I’ve explained this to you in the past. So you’re either being deliberately obtuse (look it up), you’re deliberately spreading falsehoods, or you’re just not very smart.

My money is on the latter.

Of all our unconstitutional spending and runaway National Debt, you focus on a tiny fraction for Israel?

Please, no politics. How do you explain this to your children and grandchildren?

How could you explain this to your ancestors having to pay wartime debts? How do you explain to your children and grandchildren (if any) having to pay for the military needed to keep China, Iran, Russia (your friend and Iranian ally willing to nuke all alike here for interference in empire building) and Islam in check?

Or are you just another irrational ignorant isolationist who imagines the US never needed to be involved in foreign wars?

Meanwhile, explaining the billions spend due to fornication - hetero and homosexual, as your last posted author and atheist must affirm - and the welfare state are what should be exposed as unwarranted.

Could be asked for all of Europe over the past 80 years as well. The powers that be deemed that we were to supply dollars and soldiers for the worldwide ever-growing wealth of the powers that be.

The US gave Iran over 100 Billion and ended sanctions on them. Those missiles fired at Israel were paid for by Americans thanks to the second and third Obama-Biden administrations

Actually Israel spends about 3% or less on Defense, they don’t want to raise taxes to fight their wars. They get their money from us, and all the arms they want, so why should they pay for anything when we do it. Is rewet has enough supporters in the corridors of power to get anything they want with no strings attached.

The British conned is into taking over the Defense of Palestine after W.W. II through the United Nations, they made us the guarantor for Israel. Read the history.

Amazing how the Ron Paulista isolationist cheapskates, who want zero aid to Ukraine, have similar thoughts about Israel (I predicted this months ago) As Israel takes on a multi-directional Islamic Jihad. Israel has the balls to take on the Muslim Jihad/ Unlike Europe that still allows themselves to be invaded by them. Israel’s war on Hamas, Iran and Hezbollah benefits the US and all civilized nations.

Israel at war, its economy is hurting. Israel is on an existentialist war footing that takes men into the IDF. Away from producing in their normal jobs. What foreign corporations will invest there, when Israel is under drones, rockets and missiles attack? So I favor us giving these billions of dollars to Israel. Or perhaps making this half loan and half gift.

The attitude of the Ron Paul isolationists is infantile. They are “Stop the World I Want to Get Off” ___Because emotionally they cannot handle wars. That are thousands of miles away from their own backyards/
