I've come around on JFK. By today's low standards he'd be considered an arch-conservative member of congress. He was against communism, he didn't want to engage US military in places we don't belong or allow the CIA to engage in covert wars and assassinations worldwide, and for cutting taxes and he meant all of it and proved it. Find me some GOP member you truly trust... TRULY ... to actually support that now. They all say it but when it really matters 9 times out of 10 they shaft us , all of them.
But over time you can bet JFK would have ‘evolved’, we were still relatively conservative when he was in the White House, but remember, that his ‘baby’ was the Immigration Bill, that ultimately led to the fundamental transformation of this country.
