The establishment Republicans are sustaining the Ukrainian war till after the election. They are doing so to support Joe Biden getting elected. If they followed common sense, they would realize that throwing money at Ukraine will do noting to win the war. The war is already lost for Ukraine. What it will do is sustain the war till after the election of Joe Biden. Joe Biden can say he stayed the course, he was true to his word.
What these traitors have done:
1) Sided with Joe Biden instead of Donald Trump
2) Thrown away American money on a pipe dream
3) Continue to throw away American money after they realized it was a pipe dream
4) Help install and continue to support a traitor to the Ukrainian people who will destroy his nation rather than have peace talks.
It's the old story of corruption and betrayal by the greasy, sleaze artists like Johnson. Yes, He even looks greasy.
I don't know what Trump is thinking. But the party has already betrayed him.
And how does supporting Ukraine defend itself from Russian invasion impair securing our own border? Sending aid to Ukraine does not take one penny from securing our border. It is not either/or. One can support both. They are separate issues. The false linkage is just a coward’s way to hide support for Russia’s invasion.
They have become beyond annoying.
I hope Jim will purge this site of these usurping Biden-supporters soon. They’re a scourge on this forum.

Wish I knew what Zelensky was really thinking in all of this. I am in favor of helping the people of Ukraine, but what are Zelensky’s motives? By now,I would think Ukraine is pretty well bombed out & somebody will need to rebuild it.
And you are proving to be as dumb as a dead pissant.. unless, that IS your job & duty...
That comment sounds more like a description of the Democrat party to me.
Such an erudite and reasoned response. Can’t address the points made, can you?
What points? You have none that are worth talking about.
From Pravda.ru:
Now you have. The West must be prepared to discuss Ukraine's unconditional surrender
Russian Ambassador to UN: Get ready to discuss Ukraine's surrender11.04.2024 21:38
The West must be prepared for discussions of the unconditional surrender of Ukraine already in the near future, Russia's Ambassador to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said, TASS reports
"Very soon, the only topic for any international meetings on Ukraine will be the unconditional surrender of the Kyiv regime. I advise you all to prepare for this in advance,” Nebenzya said.
Well, I heard the not taking part, and I now know that means the regime has to surrender unconditionally. Which makes sense. The regime is loaded with Nazi symbolism and I wouldn’t want to talk with those f#ckers also. I guess talking only happens after they surrender.
Putin is simply gambling that he can wear down the Ukrainians faster than he can wear down his own forces. He wishes to seize the remaining parts of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts (possible), and Kharkov and the rest of Kherson extending into Odessa (very unlikely) before trying to reach some negotiated peace that will give a respite until he can attack again, unless Ukraine gets into NATO.
My guess is it will drag on until the next President takes office. If, by the grace of God, that President is Trump, he will offer Putin a deal he will find difficult to swallow: either Donbas or Crimea, but not both, or withdrawal to the February 2022 lines. Then we'll see.
I still believe in staying out of foreign wars…in fact I would like to see American trade with Russia ramp up considerably. Geopolitical power is better obtained by having an amazing economy that trades globally than giving Zelensky billions to spread around to his friends.
Wrong…Trump will not offer Donbas or Crimea…he will offer that Russia keeps all the land they have currently conquered and stop the war, or he dramatically increases Ukrainian support.
