I think it’s deceptive of the headline to say that Johnson and his son monitor each other’s porn use. Johnson’s point was that he and his son have a program that detects if there is anything even slightly suspicious on their devices and sends immediate notification to the other if anything is found.
That suggests to me that they didn’t plant porn on his devices but probably used some other method. He clearly did his 180-degree turn after meeting with “the intelligence community” so it may have involved direct threats regarding his loved ones.
Those “briefings” the IC gives need to be recorded and available for anyone with a Q clearance to monitor.
Someone noted to me that the CIA didn’t have the authority to do covert ops until Truman allowed it. Somehow we have to get back to pre-Truman legal conditions and also round up all the illegal operations/operators since Truman and send them to Gitmo.
Is there anyplace in our laws where murder is excused because it’s done by black op? I’d really like to hear Mike Pompeo explain how he thought he could draw up plans to assassinate Julian Assange - and an honest assessment of how many such assassination plans the CIA has drawn up and/or carried out. And what law(s) they claim allow them to do this. If such laws exist, they need to be repealed and replaced with laws that hold our own agencies legally liable for murder, libel - all the things that are criminal for individuals to do.
