Leaders of Donbass asking Putin for protection is only the putative Casus Belli. It is NOT the reason for entering into the war.

This war was always going to happen sometime this decade regardless of who was running Russia, Ukraine, or the United States. Does that make any part of it right or justified? Hell no.

Why are you intent on giving Russia a pass on this?

It appears to me that the warlike issues in Ukraine began when McCain and the little light-in-the-loafer Graham created the color revolution there. I remember reading that the Nazi Azov group murdered 14,000 citizens of Donbass since 2014.

Between the Azov Nazi, the biolabs, the child trafficking and our government officials laundering money in Ukraine, I think Russia justified to respond. Although any country should have demanded those crimes be stopped.
