This has been going on since 1998.

For a Convention of the States dedicated to Georgia’s application language, which would re-balance citizens’ rights and state powers versus federal power, the count is 19 down, 15 to go: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin.

For a Convention of the States dedicated to a balanced budget amendment only, the count is 30 down, 4 to go.

Unfortunately a CoS can’t be restricted. Better for amending the old fashioned way, one issue @ a time.

When I first started hearing from the COS guys I was suspicious that the whole program might be taken over by a bunch of hippies/dirtbagz and the effort would get corrupted. But they seem to have it set up to prevent that, issue by issue. So I’ve settled in to supporting the effort and will be more active if we can get the Trumpster re-elected.
