I searched the main board BTT, but couldn't find this. Did anyone know that a building of major importance in Denmark burned to the ground on April 16th? It was exactly 400 years old, built by Christian IV, opened in 1624, and housed the original stock exchange in Denmark. Recently it was being used for the Chamber of Commerce. It also housed quite a selection of artwork, 100 pieces which were saved from the fire, but many were lost. It had a very unique feature known as the "Dragon Spire," which consisted of four dragons with their tails intertwined. You can find video of the flaming spire toppling over, very similar to the footage of Notre Dame burning. I tried to find a meaning of the four dragons, but all I could find was that the spire originally held three crowns representing Denmark, Norway and Sweden, which doesn't explain the four dragons, which were said to protect the building from fire. Ahem.

Then I went looking for a photo of the spire and found this—the top photo was taken in 2022. I zoomed in on it and realized that the tower was displaying Ukrainian flags, not Denmark's flag, the Danneborg! And now it is a smoking pile of rubble! Very curious indeed. One of my favorite podcasters also pointed out the irony of the ad for Batman that says "Fear Nothing."
