I have an incredulous BIL and SIL with kids, strong believer in the jab, who can’t figure out how me and my wife didn’t get really really ill.

My wife and I are not vaxxed. Wife finally got COVID. We had the ambulance roll her to the ER when she had a fever AND her SPO2 dropped below 90 (I test us fairly often, more when sick). She ended up in the hospital for a few days, mainly to be on oxygen. Hospital had their "Infectious Disease Specialist" visit every day, and he was FURIOUS that my unvaxxed wife was only needing oxygen, and wasn't on death's door. You could just hear it in his voice. Wifey recovered and was released without needing home oxy or anything.

We both got Covid. I spent a day in bed just feeling tired. I napped most of the day and was fine after that. The wife barely got any symptoms. Neither of us got a fever. But we do take vitamins to boost our immune system. maybe they helped?
