Raised in Chicago which wasn’t onion-centered. Shocked when we moved East and there were onions EVERYWHERE!
Went to an Uno’s when it opened here and didn’t quite recognize the flavor. The owner explained that people here were so much more onion-oriented that they had to change the original Chicago recipe from dried onions to fresh onions for MA.
Love the taste but like them diced really small or cooked extensively
TGI Fridays had a GREAT chicken dinner with caramelized onions and au gratin potatoes
The 🧅 onions were just a dab but terrific
