Welcome to the club, Tucker. It won’t end well for you.
What do Tucker Carlson, the isolationist conservative pundit, and Elizabeth Warren, the woke progressive senator of Massachusetts, share in common? Not much, other than their sickening slander of Israel, America’s only democratic ally in the Middle East.
-snip-
Yesterday, in an interview on X (formerly Twitter) that already has over 7 million views, Tucker Carlson gave a platform to Pastor Munther Isaac, the conference director of Christ and the Checkpoint, a well-known anti-Israel propagandist forum in Bethlehem that seeks to undermine Evangelical Christian support for Israel. Christ and the Checkpoint advocates for the BDS movement targeting Israel, denies the Jewish people’s historical connection to Israel by manipulating Christian theology and history, and vilifies Israel as being solely responsible for all conflict in the region.
Christ at the Checkpoint promotes a particularly twisted form of antisemitic replacement theology. At one of its conferences, Naim Ateek explained the name of the group by claiming that “Jesus was a Palestinian who lived in Palestine… born under occupation. Jesus lived under occupation. Everything he taught, everything he said was done under occupation, exactly the way we live today.”
Munther Isaac himself celebrated the October 7 Hamas massacre, declaring in his sermon the next day that he was “shocked by the strength of the Palestinian man who defied his siege.”

So, how many tucker threads are you going to spam post?
Carlson does a lot of good reporting and analysis. Other times he is reprehensible scum. I’ve noticed the same regarding Charlie Kirk.
Thing is they are not gurus. They are media figures who provide news, analysis and opinion. They are leaders or experts. It’s not all or nothing.
I appreciate when they provide good info or analysis or insight and have disdain for their reprehensible scumminess when they act out.
No your not. Ben is full of himself a lot.
Did you see Tucker’s quote from yesterday?
“If you wake up in the morning and decide your Christian faith requires you to support a foreign government blowing up churches and killing Christians, I think you’ve lost the thread.”
It's kind of like racist, overused, abused.
I don't see Carlson being an anti-Semite and I think the whole effort and claim devalues and blurs the meaning of the concern.
Your schtick is getting tiresome MarxistMinimus. Collect your checks and get back to DU.
Neither are the Arabs that live in Gaza.
There is probably a very limited area where a western conservative could question details of Israeli policy and actions, but it is so limited that I would suggest Tucker Carlson has not been very careful in establishing his basic boundaries, which probably also came across with his positions re 2020 election and Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
Like various other high profile conservative commentators, he presents a baffling mixture of very agreeable positions and not so acceptable, and it appears to come with the job, except that Rush Limbaugh seemed to avoid such blemishes which is why he is so sorely missed.
On balance, I don’t look to Tucker Carlson for guidance or inspiration, he is just another voice in the tumult and is as likely to be off key as not. But does that matter? Only to me.
Nonsense
In other words, don't jump to conclusions because "smiling faces tell lies, and I got proof".

Tell him yourself.
30 seconds of looking after I took the time to shower, comb my hair, and put on music.
And what does any of that have to do with Israel?
Have you ever been there?
I have.
You do have to laugh at the simple fact that a “Pastor Isaac” is said to be an enemy of Jews living in Israel. Could have at least changed his name.
marcusmaximus is obsessed with Tucker, and anything to hate Tucker with is an excuse.
Fox was right to fire Tucker. His opinions are really messed up.
I spent 10 days wandering aimlessly around Jerusalem on foot and it felt like Home with a camera and a KJV I had a Fine time.
Can’t wait to go Back !
I actually did read the entire linked post, but I still do not completely understand the context that motivated Tucker to make that statement.
Tucker Carlson has never been a friend of Israel.
I consider that to be a tragic flaw in someone I agree with on almost every other political issue.
You are an anti-semite if you ever disagree with anything any Jewish person does or says.
Oooo-kay..
Tucker is a little late to the party..
Seems a fast learner.
If you say that Israel is intentionally bombing Churche you are.
