I don’t know what the big deal is except in primaries you can vote for anyone you want. If he was a good parent and they have some intelligence they have some powers of reason and as they get older they’ll use those powers and reason but sometimes when they’re young not so much.
I seem to recall hearing that Juan Williams has adult children that are “out” Republicans, so it happens.

It depends on the family. And, particularly, a lot also depends on the mom. Evita Duffy, the 20-something daughter of Rachel Campos and former congressman Sean Duffy, is a semi-regular on Fox now, and she’s an articulate young conservative. But, remember, the mom has been talkin’ the talk and walkin’ the walk for the decades, so it’s not an act.
What do we know about Mrs. Tucker Carlson? Well, not much other than she’s the daughter of an Episcopalian minister. Now stop and digest that one for a moment. Episcopal Church USA is perhaps the country’s most “limousine liberal” denomination. What are the chances that the daughter of a clergyman of a WASPY liberal church is true-believing conservative?
