During the covid-19 scandal, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) routinely interfered in the doctor-patient relationship, withheld life-saving information and suppressed efficacious treatments for covid-19 and other respiratory illnesses.

Re: 16 - we all have to assess risk. In your case, you will absolutely be less safe.

Our group cured around a hundred people with it and nobody went to the hospital. We even saw cancer reduced using it.

Great Barrington Declaration

Totally ignored and suppressed.

The Great Barrington Declaration – As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection.

Coming from both the left and right, and around the world, we have devoted our careers to protecting people. Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health. The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden. Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice.

Keeping these measures in place until a vaccine is available will cause irreparable damage, with the underprivileged disproportionately harmed.

Fortunately, our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza.

As immunity builds in the population, the risk of infection to all – including the vulnerable – falls. We know that all populations will eventually reach herd immunity – i.e. the point at which the rate of new infections is stable – and that this can be assisted by (but is not dependent upon) a vaccine. Our goal should therefore be to minimize mortality and social harm until we reach herd immunity.

The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this Focused Protection.

Adopting measures to protect the vulnerable should be the central aim of public health responses to COVID-19. By way of example, nursing homes should use staff with acquired immunity and perform frequent testing of other staff and all visitors. Staff rotation should be minimized. Retired people living at home should have groceries and other essentials delivered to their home. When possible, they should meet family members outside rather than inside. A comprehensive and detailed list of measures, including approaches to multi-generational households, can be implemented, and is well within the scope and capability of public health professionals.

Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.

On October 4, 2020, this declaration was authored and signed in Great Barrington, United States,

The two guys that started Moderna became BILLIONAIRES.
Pfizer had their best year ever.
Everyone that owned stock in those companies made a lot of money. Especially IF they sold their stock in September 2021.

Moderna stock price was $20/share at the beginning of 2020. On September 10th, 2021 it hit $449/share. It is currently trading at $102.
There are a lot of people who made money off of covid. Some of them were probably directly involved in the approval of these drugs at the FDA and other government agencies.

Treatment with Ivermectin was cheap and easy to get prior to 2021. I have a liter bottle in my fridge. We had it for deworming our puppies. Any time now I “feel like I am coming down with something” my wife and I take a 4ML squirt in the mouth.

Infectious Disease ping - The first legal lawsuit to hold the FDA accountable for interfering in the doctor-patient relationship
The use of Ivermectin is seen by many as an 'off label' medication which may be used for the covid pandemic
Is this the first lawsuit to hold the FDA accountable for interfering in the doctor-patient relationship ?
A good start to medical accountability during the pandemic ! Please read the additional posted comments

(From the Article comment) airdalecheif : "In a historic case, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Galveston Division ruled against the FDA
and struck down their war against ivermectin.
As part of the settlement, the FDA agrees to take down website and social media posts that warn people not to use ivermectin to treat COVID-19."

It is one of the main reasons the government and all their alphabet agencies (many on the take from Big Pharma) go after homeopathic medicine like it causes the Black Plague and has to be forced through court orders sometimes to tell Big Pharma to take a medicine KNOWN TO CAUSE HEALTH RISKS off the market!!

Yes. In the podcast, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya appears to be the most focused of all of them not on the medical impacts and the suppression of information, but more on the overall processes that we should have followed, and he makes an explicit reference to The Great Barrington Declaration.

Completely ignored, almost to the point they deliberately went 180 degrees opposite of the recommendations.

Which I think is true. That is damning.

I don’t fault Trump on this. I fault the “experts” on this. Trump did just what I expected a chief executive to do-find the chunk of money, issue the challenge to make it happen, task the “experts” to do it, and take their advice.

What he didn’t know is all of those “experts” were “in the tank” ideologically or financially.

ALL against him for those same reasons.

Yes. The inhumanity and cruelty of it still astonishes me, all for ideology or money. Or both.

The government mucks up everything. I’m amazed that Dems (voters) want to make government bigger so they can muck up everything.

We did everything wrong during the pandemic. Fauci and the rest of our public health bureaucracy must be held accountable. It needs mentioning that most of the developed world adopted similar policies with the exception of Sweden.

The costs financially, the damage to children, the medical repercussions from the vaccines and postponed medical tests and treatments, and the loss of trust in our government institutions will have far- reaching effects for decades.

That is wishful thinking. People like Fauci are slapping themselves on the back for a job well done and the MSM isn't going to contest their obvious failures..
