A Chinese study? Worrying about the “carbon footprint” of jeans? What BS. It is an attack on western culture trying to convince everyone they need to wear chairman Mao uniforms.

Note to self: buy more jeans soon. Before they are banned and I have to make my own out of home-tanned deerskin.

Let’s make it mandatory for “journalists” who push global warming nonsense stories to calculate and post their carbon footprint from “writing” their story. Fuel to get to work, electricity to run their computer, lights in their office, etc.

In this case, which is greater, wearing jeans or spreading lies?

Now this assumes they can calculate anything beyond counting on their fingers and toes.

Everyone is going to have to start wearing recycled newspapers.

(Of course, on rainy days, everyone will also have to start wearing very large umbrella hats.)

Wearing jeans is bad for Earth, study finds. Also other clothing made from or using parts from fossil fuels has to stop.

Grow your own cotton, raise your own silk worms, plant your own flax. Else you are harming the environment for the Children!!!

I remember when Jimmy Carter was praised because he wore blue jeans.

“worn, washed and discarded after about seven uses. “

has there ever been a pair of jeans discarded after seven uses? I don’t even wash mine after only seven times wearing them.

*** worn, washed and discarded after about seven uses.***

LOL. I pretty much live in jeans. The only ones I’ve let go of are ones that are too big, and those were donated. You can recycle jeans, too. There’s all kinds of stuff you can make from them.

... a pair of jeans that were quickly produced, shipped, worn, washed and discarded after about seven uses.

Who does that?
