And parking garage capacity will have to be reduced 15% to 20%. Parking garages have a useful lifespan. Older parking garages have to reduce traffic regardless of EVs parking in them. EVs will just speed up the process..

Imagine a parking deck - with the chargers in the bottom floor - and a car catches fire - parked next to other similar vehicles - and suddenly several lithium-fueld EV fires... takes out the entire deck... yeah.. Great.
