The Norwegian Dawn ship left the tourists on an African island, some without their possessions after the private tour they were on ran late. I'll give them some sympathy when you take private tours you are completely dependent on them getting you back on time.
The ship line should stop doing business with that group.

Well, God forbid, I read the article, lol, if it was a *private* tour, there are no guarantees. Typically when you book an excursion from the cruise ship, they will wait for you if delayed.
My husband’s new rule is from whatever movie “Apocalypse now” maybe..”Never get off the boat”. ;)

If you have ever been on a cruise, you know that it is very easy to book private tours that have no affiliation with the cruise line. They are cheaper, hence the attraction, but you take a risk that all will go smoothly and return you to the port in time.

The point is the ship wasn’t doing business with that group.
