Ransomnote and you are both so prescient. I’m not sure I believed, even as recently as two years ago, that the DOJ had been so completely captured, but we’ve seen ample evidence that it has. I can scarcely believe the rulings and statements I’ve seen and heard from the judicial side of the three branches of government. In my naiveté and my admiration of history, I imagined that the judicial side would remain mostly scrupulous, largely because of the persistence of the historical record. Who would want to be viewed historically as a bad jurist? I vastly underestimated the depth of corruption.
